“DO NOT LOVE SLEEP”

Laziness is the biggest enemy of a person who wants to be prosperous and do well in life. In the Bible book of Proverbs 20 :13 says, "Do not love sleep or you will grow poor, stay awake and you will have food to spare".

Everyone needs sleep and rest, but if it becomes more than what you need it is called laziness. For a lazy person everything is difficult and less interesting. They see everything like a big mountain. They can never progress or achieve anything in their life. They can never be blessed and can never be a blessing to anyone. But a person who stays awake has a goal to reach or achieve, for such a person nothing is impossible. He is ready to walk any extent to achieve his goal. He will progress in his life. He will be blessed and he will be a blessing to others. There is a saying; God helps those who help themselves. In other words, God helps and blesses those who are not lazy.

We have a best example in Dr. Daniel Abraham, the Founder Director of Christian Fellowship Centre. Who 57 years ago in 1959 as a young man from Kerala landed in Ludhiana and he had a goal, by trusting in God he worked hard and God helped him and blessed him and today we have a big blessed ministry called Christian Fellowship Centre, through which God made him a blessing to many. Even till his last breath, he remained an inspiration and blessing to many. Thank God for his exemplary life. Let me repeat - Stay awake and you will have food to spare.

Wishing you Good Luck

Like parallel railway tracks, the growth and development of C.F.C Public School has run rivetingly parallel to the growth and development of Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, one of the largest and most sought – after colonies of Ludhiana.

When the school started in 1973, it was housed in a rented building in Gurdev Nagar. The first three children were students of the Nursery class. But in 1977, when the Ludhiana Improvement Trust had begun work on the new Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar colony across the canal from the P.A.U along the Ferozepur road, a greener horizon beckoned. The Founder-Director, Rev. (Dr.) D.Abraham, promptly snapped up a school site on offer. The rest, like they say is history.

C.F.C. Public School and Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar are still running parallel to each other. If you enter the colony from any side, people know about the school and can give you directions to reach it. Other schools have come up since then. But C.F.C is like the Sunet village situated behind it. Timeless yet changing. In many ways, that’s what a school should be. Serving the community. Serving the city. Serving the people. Somewhat like that exhortation given in the HOLY BIBLE: “Work for the peace and prosperity of the city you live in. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”

Wishing you Good Luck

Principal Message

It is my great honour and privilege to take up the responsibility of the Principal at C.F.C Public School - to lead the school into an era of excellence, reliving its glorious yesteryears and ushering in a golden future.

My heartiest thanks to the Management, staff and students for the heartfelt warm welcome extended to me as I was whole-heartedly enveloped back into the C.F.C family.

As I take up this huge responsibility, I realize I have a lot to learn and I come with an open – minded approach. My motive and commitment will always be the progress of this school, my teachers and my students.

In the days to come, you will notice changes in many aspects of the school, but I can assure you that they will all lead in only one direction - betterment.

Progress will come, slowly and steadily. Within a few days, I have noticed the deep- rooted dedication in my teachers, the willingness to improve in my students and the palpable excitement in everyone around to do all in their ability to bring about a positive and lasting change.

This observation has been the spark that promises me a glimpse of the bright future. With God Almighty by our side, success is assured. With all of us – management, teachers students and parents being one in thought and action, nothing is impossible. Together we can and will achieve unfathomable heights in the days to come.Placing my trust in Him and committing all my ways unto Him I would like to conclude with a Bible verse which has been the backbone of this institute.

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.’
