Like parallel railway tracks, the growth and development of C.F.C Public School has run rivetingly parallel to the growth and development of Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, one of the largest and most sought – after colonies of Ludhiana.
When the school started in 1973, it was housed in a rented building in Gurdev Nagar. The first three children were students of the Nursery class. But in 1977, when the Ludhiana Improvement Trust had begun work on the new Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar colony across the canal from the P.A.U along the Ferozepur road, a greener horizon beckoned. The Founder-Director, Rev. (Dr.) D.Abraham, promptly snapped up a school site on offer. The rest, like they say is history.
C.F.C. Public School and Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar are still running parallel to each other. If you enter the colony from any side, people know about the school and can give you directions to reach it. Other schools have come up since then. But C.F.C is like the Sunet village situated behind it. Timeless yet changing. In many ways, that’s what a school should be. Serving the community. Serving the city. Serving the people. Somewhat like that exhortation given in the HOLY BIBLE: “Work for the peace and prosperity of the city you live in. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”
Wishing you Good Luck
